Customer acquisition and customer retention.
Most (if not all) network marketing opportunities are 99.9%
distributor-based and less than 1% real customers.
Out business is the opposite with over 99% real customers buying product without a business attached to it, and 1% or less of business affiliates. But it gets better…
With us, we actually go into business with the company and
buy customers they acquire for us, then the company does the
rest: acquisition, retention, marketing, collection, inventory,
shipping, etc… even selling our customers additional products,
different products & new products.
How would it feel to grow your business 25 X faster than any MLM, and without having to sell products to people or be required to recruit your family and friends?
This company does a phenomenal job backend marketing your customers with catalogs, medical articles and email at NO COST TO YOU.

Apparently, with all of her ‘great’ stock market & investment advice, she does not even invest in stocks herself. The interview had some intersting things about her own investments. She has less than 1/2 of 1% of her over million of assets in stock! She says that she primarily buys zero coupon munis. And will even chose a lower rate to get AAA ratings.
Now, I dont knock anyone on personal investment choices, but she is fair game as she is supposed to be a fianancial advisor & has repeatedly told her followers, that you need aggressiveness in your portfolio & you should have a certain % of assets in stock. But she has the portfolio of a 85 year old widow taking care of orphans! The article states that she has never realy owned much stocks.
Dont get me wrong, I think she does a half decent job helping folks on her show, but she doesnt even follow her own advice & is called a guru. & I am not bashing her b/c she is a woman. I like some of her advice. Thoughts?
ralphcoder:
million is less than 1/2 of 1% of million. The article states that, she said she has about million in real estate & about mill in stocks. Yes, mill is a large amount, but not relatively speaking. Also, she is not an analyst, but an advisor, that is a big difference. & your lunch money is safe (today)– I have no where near that amount to invest. I guess my point is, she does not use her own advice to make money, & that is HOW she makes money, by giving advice to others on investing. Kind of hypocritical. I feel its like taking military advice by someone who has read a book about it, but never actually had any experience in it. (That was NOT a Bush joke)
I got it from MSN Money central in the commentary tab today. The article was talking about the NY Times article over the weekend. Maybe she did say that in the Journal, but they did not mention that in this article.
saved:
OOps! even I had to give you thumbs up for that! My bad math! LOL. But my point still stands. she has less than 4% invested.

I’m a senior in high school and i’m taking two theater classes; Theater production & Advance Tech Theater. And theres going to be a ITS Festival down in corpus christi this year and i would love to go. In order to go you have to be a thespian (which i am) and audition for a Competition to do. I’m mainly a tech person so i was thinking about doing theater marketing. Since i’m not much of an acting person (even though i will act if i need too)
The only problem is, i have no idea how to do any of the tech stuff listed for completion, and theater marketing is most recommended for me to do. Here are the requirements and rules for it
Theatre Marketing
The following materials are to be presented:
1. Presentation must be a publicity campaign for one published play written for the theatre.
Designs for performances of poetry, fiction, screenplays, or any other medium are not
permitted. It is strongly recommended that the entrant was actually responsible for a
publicity campaign of the selected play.
2. The following materials are to be presented:
Poster design or finished poster (11" × 17")
Program design or finished program
Two press releases consisting of an informational article and feature article
A promotional project idea or documentation of a completed promotional project
Information about the budget for the publicity campaign and justification of
expenses must be included. Your work will be judged on how you spent the
money.
3. Only one entrant may be involved in the design. No collaborations are permitted.
4. The entrant must make an oral presentation justifying the designs. Note cards may be
used. The entrant must also be prepared to answer questions about the design
presented. Questions are not part of the ten (10) minutes of allotted time.
5. The introduction must include only the entrant’s name, troupe number, title of play, and
playwright.
6. The oral presentation cannot exceed fifteen (15) minutes, including setup and questions
and answers.
I have no idea what play to market. Any suggestions of how to do this? What i really need for the audition is a plan for what i am going to do, such as say what play im going to do and give a brief explanation of how i will market it.
The actually festival isn’t till the end of November. So i’ll have all that time to set up for it.

The writer did no research and said he "randomly" selected Itronics to mention in his article because they had an association many years ago with a marketing company that had a pump and dump on it’s client list.
The day after this article was released, Itronics stock plummetted on heavy volume because of this article inferring it’s apump and dump which it definitely is not. I’ve been a shareholder for several years and it’s the furthest stock from a P&D imaginable.
Isn’t this article libelous toward Itronics?

I’m trying to find a good news article & event to use as an example of a global marketing fiasco. I want to find something that happened within the last year in which a company operated in one country went to another and failed magnificently due to differences in culture. Think Wal-Mart in Germany, but more recent. Any examples?
And by ‘global marketing fiascos’, I don’t mean business fiascos in general. I mean ones from when corporations went global with their product (as in brought their business to another country) and things went down the pie-hole. Corporate failures in general don’t answer this question at all!

I recently found a television show called "All Matt’s Children" on the internet through a station called ROAR Network. Does anyone know where this television station is located? I have never heard of it before. Also, is this a real spin off of "All My Children" or is it a separate show?
Here is the link if anyone is wanting to see what I’m talking about.

With the NHL having it’s week of all things 99 an article was written about him being shipped to the sun soaked coast of California and I was wondering how important to the game and the Oilers do you think the trade to be? In the article it was compared to the Sox-Yanks swap of the Great Bambino but that trade had the interesting fact that for 86 years the BoSox couldn’t ever win, while the Yanks went headlong into glory. 99 brought better exposure to the game in non-traditional markets but he never captured another Cup, while Messier, even with the "Great One", captained the Oilers to another sip out of Lord Stanley’s Mug. Personally, I’ve always felt the trade was good for the marketing of the league but never meant as much in terms of production for either side, where the Sox-Yanks Ruth trade created so much more frustration/happiness for either side.
