They won’t spin, they will outright lie.
I dont care if they want it or not. I dont.
Are we supposed to let the doctors decide?
Maybe they figure they will have less collection problems. I can assure you they are looking out for #1.
CONSIDER THE LIBERAL SOURCE
73% of 2130 doctors
It seems Democrats beat them to it. Was this a poll of ALL doctors? To believe so is not reality.
There are hundreds of thousands of doctors in the USA.
Simple! They’ll say that all those doctors are Socialists!
They will not mention it.
Where was the poll taken and by whom?
I have one showing 97% of doctors disprove of Obamacare.
See it’s easy to make them up.
they’ll say it was a "Democratic poll" or something stupid and unrealistic
they will continue to blame you obamabots who love obama as much as they hate him.
which of you are the lesser of two stupids?
certainly rush and hannity will spin this. After all, these two dunderheads think they know more than doctors….and lawyers…and college professors…if you don’t believe me, just ask them.
"stop spending our money", why dont’ you read. The question included a source for the percentage.
———-
I dont’ care what Lamity and Limpbig say. I want the public option. And I’m not alone on this matter. I’m tired of a few morons with signs trying to ruin our nation.
OMG….are really going to use that website as a legit site….please
wow you have a poll from one state, how concise of you.
They won’t have to spin anything. Just saying whatever is convenient will do. (2 million teabaggers go to Washington). If it weren’t so serious it would be laughable.
99.999% of dentists recommend Colgate too.
98% of statistics are made up.
Is this a credited poll conductor? Like the Dr. that spoke up at a town hall…… that came out after wards she wasn’t a dr.! Hhhhhmmmmmm The dr’s I speak to are not in favor! Nice try!
2130 doctors polled is too small a representation. How about the 10,000+ petition signed by doctors that made it to Washington opposing the proposed health care?
Hey that’s a Breathe of Fresh Air, More Doctors in America Support This Measure and that’s Good News, also 50% of Everyday people Support Health Care Reform compared to 47% who Opposed It, That means the Conservatives are Losing on this Issue.
They won’t have to spin that. That is a blatant lie in itself.
I have only met one Dr. so far out of 256 Dr’s that I have polled in my area that would even consider it. They all hate the idea.
So I would think you have a bad source but I have never heard of californiahealthline. Is that an offshoot of Acorn?
Well, that’s very cool. Then let them pay for it. In fact, you want this abortion? That’s fine, too. But I find it incredible that you feel that you have the right and moral authority to force me to pay for it and YOUR health care. Hey, I’ve bought my own. I don’t need to pay for yours too. If that’s a deal, if YOU pay for it and not me, then I couldn’t care less. You and the doctors can knock yourselves out.
But you won’t do that, will you? You DO feel as though you have a right to take more of the money that I’ve earned for yourself. That attitude and belief never ceases to amaze me.
I just have to laugh at all the Conservatives responding that the poll isn’t inclusive enough. Uhm, how about the Quinnipiac and Rassmussen polls you guys love to hang your hats on? Their poll sampling is much smaller (usually only 1000 people or so) yet you cling to it like the Gospel truth. These people are SO ridiculous it would be laughable if it wasn’t so embarrasing.
they don’t bring it up…that’s how they tend to handle dissent from their opinion….it’s rare that they let a caller who opposes them through, and when they do, they cut them off, without letting them respond to their position
I don’t care what Doctors think, They get paid either way.
I am the one who has to get the treatment. If Fed Gov runs out of money, the treatment runs out.
But the Fed Gov would never run out of money…right?
right?
helloooooooo?
You can spin a poll to read exactly what you want. So polls are fairly inaccurate unless they are done without bias.
I do and have worked in health care for 20 years and I can assure you that I know a lot of doctors and they nor anyone else in health care are for this public option.
I better answer this question before they report you…. You know the TRUTH hurts these deluded, selfish Rabid Right Wingers. They actually think tthat their Racist Tea Parties and their marches of a few thousands represent 300 million Americans……. I love the way they are carrying on because they are finished politically.
Conservatism=Contempt.
You are wrong, it say only 10% favor a public option alone. The remaining 63% said they would support a health care plan that includes a public option. Also, I don’t see where it says it was a national poll (only in liberal California?) and the AMA only represents a small percentage of doctors. Nice try though.
Where was that survey taken, at the VA ? These kind of numbers don’t mean a damn thing. Most doctors are opposed to NHC, it certainly will have a big economic change in their lives. The potential for a greater work load is real too. This will reduce the quality of health care considerably, and conscientious doctors do not support this possibility.
Think about it, why would a doctor throw into supporting the socialist agenda of a guy like 0bama ? They already know he is opposed to the wealthy amongst us, staying wealthy ! They also know that 0bama will look for ways to reduce the income of health care providers.
They’ll probably point out how it’s too contrary to a poll two weeks ago to be reliable on its face:
The poll conducted on August 7, 2009 by WRS Opinion Research on behalf of the ASMD shows that:
70 percent of specialty doctors oppose current Congressional and White House proposals for health care reform;
66 percent believe that a government-run health insurance plan would restrict doctors’ ability to give the best advice and offer the best care possible to their patients; and
More than 60 percent would not accept new patients with government insurance.

I know that they will claim that the Liberal Doctors were brainwashed from their extensive education by Liberal Professors of course. Here is another poll for them to spin:
Poll: Doctors Among Public Options Biggest Fans
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=112839232&sc=emaf
"When polled, "nearly three-quarters of physicians supported some form of a public option, either alone or in combination with private insurance options," says Dr. Salomeh Keyhani. She and Dr. Alex Federman, both internists and researchers at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, conducted a random survey, by mail and by phone, of 2,130 doctors. They surveyed them from June right up to early September.
Most doctors — 63 percent — say they favor giving patients a choice that would include both public and private insurance. That’s the position of President Obama and of many congressional Democrats. In addition, another 10 percent of doctors say they favor a public option only; they’d like to see a single-payer health care system. Together, the two groups add up to 73 percent.
When the American public is polled, anywhere from 50 to 70 percent favor a public option. So that means that when compared to their patients, doctors are bigger supporters of a public option.
Doctors’ Support For Public Option ‘Broad And Widespread’
The researchers say they found strong support for a public option among all categories of doctors. "We even saw that support being the same whether physicians lived in rural areas or metropolitan areas," says Federman.
"Whether they lived in southern regions of the United States or traditionally liberal parts of the country," says Keyhani, "we found that physicians, regardless — whether they were salaried or they were practice owners, regardless of whether they were specialists or primary care providers, regardless of where they lived — the support for the public option was broad and widespread."
Politicians, pundits, and often even pollsters spin.
You can rest assured they will put their usual Spin on it.
They will probably say that the poll didn’t include any specialists, which is undoubtedly true since they have the most to lose.
Why don’t you listen to them, you might learn something—JOKE!
I don’t know how they will spin this information–I only know for certain that they will.
