I am trying to use Article Marketing to promote my site. My problem is that once I start writing an article to give away, I get quite into the writing and they seem to be quite good works. I just can not seem to bring myself to give them away when they will fit into my site very well instead.
How do you choose what articles to use on your site and what to use for Article Marketing?
If you run an article / content based site, do your articles cover the same topic your site does?
Do you just use your worst articles for Article Marketing?
How many people try out their article on their site first and then use it for Article Marketing if it is not as effective as the rest?
The good thing is, you feel like you are writing to your best ability. If you love it, others will too. That is a good method to stick with because it means that you are doing a good job. Write a few articles for your own site once in awhile, too!
What you do is put the articles on your site FIRST. Let them get indexed by the engines, give it about a month. Once indexed start submitting the articles to other directories or even slightly altering the article then submitting. While you wait you can submit your article link through http://www.digg.com to gain some exposer and link popularity.
If you just alter your article after posting it on your site then your good to go at anytime for submitting to directories.
Article marketing needs to be effective, therefor quality articles are necessary to grow your article throughout the web. Never consider a bad article to submit. Quality content is king for all aspects of online marketing.
