Whether they are innocent or not, this is now all about them. Madeleine seems to have been forgotten amid all the lawsuits and press releases. There’s something not right about this case, and the fact that Madeleine appears to be second priority to them and their reputations is really bad.

Nicely spotted.. I don’t have the answer tho.

i give up with the whole thing – there’s something missing in this case and i don’t like it – its all about the parents – what about poor little Maddie? i personally think that gerry has too much to say!

Because he wants to keep using the "fund" for his "living expenses". The man is a hypocrite and a lier. He is on a par with Ian Huntly for being cold blooded and his wife is as bad as Rosemary West who also killed her daughter and disposed of her body beneath the patio.

guilty or not, the way they conduct themselves, and the whole me me me approach to this campaign, it defies belief, how self-centered can you get?

This isn’t the only disagreement – Alex Woolfall is quoted in the Times as saying that nobody thought Madeleine had been abducted for the first few days.

One bone of contention has been whether Mrs McCann, when raising the alarm that Madeleine was missing, screamed: “They’ve taken her.” Some have questioned why a mother would leap to the conclusion that a child had been abducted.

"Mr Woolfall says that he heard no suggestion in the early days that the girl had been snatched. “Certainly I did not hear any discussion that this could be a paedophile or an aggravated robbery. All the time I was around it was whether she could have wandered off and had an accident or somebody had actually taken her in, perhaps not with ill-intent.

“During the first 48 hours the word being used was ‘missing’ rather than ‘abducted’ or any link with a paedophile or any sort of crime.

And yet now Kate knew within 30 seconds because of the bed and cuddle cat and Gerry says they we’re waiting in the room having watched her for days.

    They weave a tangled web.

Well this is yet another odd thing. I agree with the poster above me wholeheartedly. People magazine has a huge cover photo of Kate but a thumbnail of Madeleine and well I just don’t get that.

  8. Ellis says:

He daren’t admit she is dead or he would have to put away the begging bowl that is supposedly to provide funds to find Madeleine.
