events, if they have enough money, can do this. Phenomena such as "healthcare" possess those amounts of money. So why would you believe anything you read or hear in the media, pertaining to healthcare ? Unless you’ve got some way of excluding healthcare as likely to be influenced by spin.
To Hiram,
Thanks

The National Health Care Reform is nothing new it has been tried by other President’s to get through but to no avail. You don’t have to believe everything you read or hear on the media. You need to listen to the pros & cons of proposals then decipher information.Read & inquire on a personal level then come to your own conclusion.
Some of us have formed opinions decades before the current spin cycle. Some time in the mid 1990′s the need for news and information became superseded by the need for government disinformation, but we didn’t ALWAYS have soviet era news manufacturing.
I try and weed out the BS from the grains of truth (usually find by looking for what they are propagandizing against.)
Health Care is a travesty in this country. So to say the debate is pure spin means you haven’t been to a doctor, dealt with an HMO or waited in a City Emergency room recently.
A few years ago there was a survey of the main stream media that found that 88% were Democrats and voted for democrats. Today they like to be called Moderates or Progressives, but they still are democrats when it comes to voting. So, how do you think they might "spin" things ?
Careful what you read
